Captain Julie Jacob is a USCG licensed captain who has been addicted to anything having do with the water since she was a little girl! In addition to being a fantastic sailor, she is an active NAUI scuba instructor and trainer and has spent time as a white water rafting guide in Colorado, Idaho and Arizona.

Julie started sailing in college and now has over 30,000 miles on her resume including a Transatlantic crossing in 2003. She is an avid racer on anything from Hobie Cats to J22's to large Swans. These days, Julie spends the bulk of her vacation time doing offshore deliveries on the East Coast and seasonal trips to the Caribbean. Julie lives in Dallas/Fort Worth area and works in international Treasury and finance.

Julie sailed with us on both of our Greece trips and has also sailed the western Mediterranean, the BVI's, the Bahamas, Bermuda, the Baja Peninsula and other Caribbean waters. This year, Julie will be hosting new adventures for LSA - a sailing/scuba trip to the Bahamas and a racing trip to the Caribbean. If you are lucky enough to sail with her, I am sure you will see why we love having Julie onboard!

Captain Chris Rousseau started sailing young teenager with his dad on dingies, catamarans, and keelboats on north Texas lakes and he hasn't stopped sailing since. Chris's sailing resume is very distinguished.
